Week 19 - Advanced User Study (21-28\04)

1. User Study:

First, after several additional usability tests, some points were raised for improvement in the app interface: A. Apartment profile page:

- Adding a summary of the period (months) that the tenant stayed in the apartment, in addition to information that existed about the date of entry and exit.

- Improving the 'Pros and Cons' section: "too long", "difficult to read", "it is not entirely clear what is an advantage and what is a disadvantage", "exhausting".

B. Home screen/search:

- The bottom navigation bar is nicely designed but it is not completely understood what is the purpose of each icon in it and the need of each of them for the MVP version.

You can see that we have placed three icons: plus (to add reviews), search, and icon of "saved" (which is not planned to be in the MVP version).

Before:

It can be seen that we are left with two main and necessary options:

Searching for the apartment and adding an apartment review. Therefore, we corrected it as follows:

2. Questionnaire for collecting opinions for the DB:

After sending the survey to several people for review, we realized that it was long, cumbersome and some would say that it was a bit boring. Therefore, this week we worked mainly on cracking the most important questions, focusing the questionnaire as a fun process, improving the visual visibility and the user experience.

What did we do?

- We shortened the process that users go through - fewer questions. - We divided the questionnaire into 4 main parts:

A. General acquaintance

B. landlord

C. Maintenance - Instead of giving the user the option to fill which rooms he wants, we risk a lack of vital information and a lack of uniformity in entering the data. We also chose the part maintenance into 3 parts:

* General - matters specific to a particular room but the apartment as a whole.

* Kitchen room.

* Bathroom.

D. Around the apartment.

- Besides, we emphasized the micro-copy- simple, fun, and addressed in a non-gendered language.

In addition, we decided on the MVP information architecture:
