Week 22 - Production (12-19/05)

Along with continuing the hard work on the development of the MVP, this week we started dealing with the product production and marketing phase.

1. First, we have formulated a short brief that gives a concise explanation of the product and how it works. This text is intended for the laboratory website and publication in the press.

2. Next, we started thinking about a promo video for the product to provide another informative and visual layer that could contribute to the way the product is presented to users.

For communication students alongside design, the visual layer plays a key role and therefore, the process of thinking and drafting the script for the video formed an experiential and satisfying part of the process.

Week 21 - Handoff Process Design to Develop (05-12/05)

After completing the final usability tests for this phase and receiving feedback from the mentors about the MVP, this week we started focusing on the early transfer of design to the development team. One of the challenges we faced at this point was first of all to create full synchronization between the design team and the development team.

Our goal as a team was to work together and avoid mishaps that could delay the development team in their work. Therefore, we anticipated the late, and throughout the process, the design team consulted and shared with the development team on each side and step to avoid mishaps later.

As a result, the process that began this week was easier than expected and we are happy with the way we have chosen to proceed.

Most of the development work focused on establishing basic server methods and working on the Client-Side Layers. In addition, we integrated the Client's Backend on the screens we defined as MVP.

At the same time, we worked hard to distribute our database questionnaire and so far we have reached about 71 apartments.

Week 20 - Speed Mentoring Session (28\04-05/05)

This week we focused on preparing for the Speed ​​Mentoring event.

As you know at the beginning of the process before the start of the design phase, we met with the mentors to present to them the idea we chose to focus on while presenting the initial solution. Of course, in recent months we have worked a lot on improving the idea to the point of prototyping that has undergone a large number of usability tests.

Therefore, it is probably not difficult to understand that there is a certain excitement in the air, from the fact that we can present our products to people who were exposed to the idea from the very beginning.
